PWWA Interim Title Match
Jessie McKay (NSW) V Evie (NZ) – **WINNER - Evie**
The PWWA Interim Title Tournament has come down to two women who will battle it out August 25th to see who will win the coveted PWWA Title.

As many of you may already know, PWWA Champion Madison Eagles is currently out of action due to a serious knee injury. Because Madison has no indication when she will be back in the ring, we here at PWA and PWWA have decided to crown an Interim Women’s Champion in her absence. Eight female wrestlers will be competing over the next few PWA shows in a tournament style competition to see who will be crowned with this highly internationally recognized title. PWWA is the leader in Women’s Wrestling in Australia and its only right that we have the best talent competing for the title. When the final match determines the winner we will be releasing the DVD complication of the tournament matches for international sale.

** WINNER – Kellie Skater with an Ankle Lock

** WINNER – Jessie McKay with a Yakuza Kick

May 5th @ Casula Powerhouse, NSW, Australia
** WINNER – Shazza McKenzie wins be default as Eliza Sway is unable to compete

** WINNER – Evie Pins Megan-Kate with a ‘Go To Sleep’

The Eight Women Signed for the Tournament -
Jessie McKay - after putting on a stellar performance in the Match of the Year 3 way fight between herself, Nicole Matthews (Canada) and then SHIMMER and PWWA Champion Madison Eagles, we felt it only fair that this SHIMMER star be one of the first confirmed for this title tournament.
Kellie Skater - not only was she the first ever PWWA Champion and winner of the Last Woman Standing tournament, Skater has been spending much time abroad wrestling across Japan, Canada and the USA. She by far is one of the best female wrestlers in the country, and it wouldn’t be a PWWA Tournament without the ‘Rate Tank’.
Evie- recently announced as New Zealand’s #1 Female Wrestler, Evie made a highly impact full PWWA debut at the last all Women’s event. With so much going for her, this young athlete has set her sights high as a strong competitor for the Interim Title.
Shazza McKenzie - since the last PWWA event, Shazza has been traveling around Australia making her mark on the Aussie Wrestling scene. Currently in the USA honing her wrestling skill and making her SHIMMER debut this month, Shazza is taking the right steps to make sure she continues to get better in the ring, and this is why she is taking her spot in the PWWA Tournament.
Megan-Kate - having her BFF Tag partner, Evie, already announced for the PWWA Interim Title Tournament, we are excited to add New Zealand’s Megan-Kate into the Title run. Having shown her determination and heart in her match on September 3rd, 2011, the feisty New Zealander picked up the win against PWWA main stay Savannah Summers in a hard fought match. Now that both BFF’s have been added to the Tournament there is the very realistic chance they may face off at some point in the Championship race.
Harley Wonderland - since joining the ranks of the PWWA Girls, Wonderland has continually imposed herself upon many of the wrestlers with her rule breaking tactics. Unfortunately it has been her downfall, with her cheating behavior being foiled most of the time by the other ambitious girls on the roster. So when Wonderland appealed to the PWWA management to be included in a shot at the title, they were at first hesitant, but agreed when Wonderland promised that her not so nice behavior would change due to her ambition at winning for PWWA title. But will Wonderland really change her tune? only time, and the tournament will tell.
Alex Lee - management have decided to add a wildcard entrant into the PWWA Tournament. Recently returned from training overseas with Lance Storm and at the WWE training school (FCW), not much is known about this underdog contestant for the PWWA Interim Title. Formerly known as Irena (or Leah West in FCW), Alex Lee is in fact the only wrestler in the tournament that has not wrestled for PWWA or PWA, and is keen to take her place in the competitive Australian Women’s Wrestling scene by taking part in the most important womens tournament since the original PWWA Title crowning.
Eliza Sway - A member of the PWWA roster since its inception in 2007, Eliza Sway has been a big part of the Queensland, Melbourne and Adelaide wrestling scenes. Challenging the height of the injured Champion, Madison Eagles, the understated yet aggressive Sway has by far the ability to take out this whole competition.

Would love to come to this tournament, but unless I am missing something, I cannot see where it is being held?
It is being held over the next 4 PWA events starting at Woy Woy in April
