‘Quick Hits’ from Call to Arms

Mikey Broderick called out Sean O’Shea wanting to settle their differences once and for all, which lead to Mikey losing an impromptu non title match against PWA Champion Mick Moretti via disqualification. However it wasn’t him that introduced the title belt that lead to the DQ by referee Graham ‘Fozzy’ Young.

New Interim Women’s champion, Evie, has had a great week. Seven days prior to winning the most coveted title in the southern hemisphere, the PWWA Title, she won the IPW New Zealand women’s championship. Its looks to be onwards and upwards for this dynamo, and who will be her first title defense be against October 6th?

Ahmed Iblis and MH Cydel are back! They returned to the PWA ring straight after the Tag Title match had finished and laid out their challenge to Bishop Sommers and Brian Seeker. If accepted the returning duo will fight for the Tag Titles on September 28th at the Cube in Campbelltown.

Bee Boy won his first ever match…. insert bug pun!

When Adam Hoffman and Tama Williams interfered in the Ethan McKay (no relation) and Concrete Davidson match there was a clear moment where Concrete could have prevented any further attack, instead he choose to simply walk out on the young debutant.

Damian Slater and Ryan Eagles had dominate performances on Saturday’s event. Both have also made it clear that with their victories, they feel they’ve earned an opportunity to face champion Mick Moretti for the Heavyweight Championship. Who will get their shot first? the bearded brawler or touted technician?
